Organization

Your organization is your business identity in Finvo. It holds the details that appear on your invoices.

What an organization represents

In Finvo, an organization is simply your business information:

  • Business name
  • Address
  • Contact information
  • Logo (optional)

This information appears in the "From" section of your invoices.

Why it exists even for solo users

Even if you're an individual freelancer, you have an organization in Finvo. You can think of it as "your sender details" rather than a company structure.

The organization concept exists so that:

  • Your business info is stored in one place
  • It can be reused automatically on every invoice
  • You don't have to re-enter it each time

Whether you're a solo developer or a small agency, the setup is the same.

Pre-filling invoice data

When you create an invoice, your organization details are automatically filled in. This saves you from typing the same information repeatedly.

If your business details change (new address, updated phone number), update your organization once and future invoices will use the new information.

Setting up your organization

To view or edit your organization details:

  1. Go to Settings → Organization
  2. Fill in your business information
  3. Save your changes

You only need to do this once. After that, your details are ready to use.

Current limitations

Organizations in Finvo are currently simple and single-user:

  • One organization per account — You can't switch between multiple business identities.
  • Single user — There's no team member or role management.

This keeps things simple for freelancers and solo businesses, which is who Finvo is designed for.
